International MOMS Club
MOMS Clubs provide opportunities for moms to meet one another and share support, encouragement and friendship through monthly meetings, playgroups, outings, community service projects, Moms' Nights Out and more.  You can use this site for general info and to locate local chapters near you.  Some Metro area chapters include:

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
MOPS stands for Mothers of Pre-Schoolers (children from birth through kindergarten).  This Christian-based organization offers regular meetings that include fellowship, food, speakers/presentations related to motherhood, discussion groups, a MOPPETS program (care and Bible instruction) for children and more.
MOPS-Trinity Lutheran Church
Serving members from Papillion, LaVista, and Bellevue, this group meets at Trinity Lutheran Church in Papillion.

Mother-to-Mother Support Network of Omaha
The purpose of this program is to provide support to women during the transition to motherhood, allowing them a forum to speak openly with others experiencing similar feelings as well as information resources to aid in coping with postpartum mood disorders.
Blair MOPS
Serving members in the Blair, NE area.  They meet at Country Bible Church.
Brookside MOPS
Meetings are held at Brookside Church, 11607 M Circle in Omaha.  Whether you are a first time mom or your child is heading to preschool, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is a place for moms to connect, be encouraged, and know you aren't alone on the journey of motherhood.
Busy Plattsmouth Moms and Kids Meetup (No website)

Busy Plattsmouth Moms & Kids Meetup offers meetings, playdates, activities, and field trips to Plattsmouth area moms who are interested in meeting and spending time with other moms and their children. The group meets in and around Plattsmouth twice monthly in the evenings and on Saturdays. Meetups take place at members' houses, parks, and educational or fun venues. All ages of children are welcome to attend activities. There are no membership dues.

 
Bellevue Area Christian Homeschoolers (site coming)
BACH (Bellevue Area Christian Homeschoolers) is a very active faith-based group with these regularly scheduled events: At monthly support meetings, they have a lending library, BACH Swap- (a garage sale without money's exchanged) and a social time. Twice a month they have a Learning Cooperative and Arts and Culture Day. Once a month are 4-H, Jr. High and Sr. High activities, a scheduled field trip, and a Rose Theater trip. There are 5 special event activities each year. Our summer time regular activity is park days on Fridays.

Nebraska Children's Home Society
One of the oldest child care organizations in the state, Nebraska Children's Home is a licensed private, non-sectarian, non-profit child agency focused on providing safe and loving care to children of all ages.  They provide care through our four main programs: Pregnancy and Adoption; Foster Care; and an Early Childhood Development program focused on strengthening children’s social, academic and life skills.

New Neighbors League of Omaha
Brings together newcomers to Omaha where they can meet and make new friends.  The group has monthly coffees and luncheons and offers many activities, including playgroups, book clubs, sports, cooking and  philanthropy.
Moms In Touch International

ABBA Homeschool Academy
ABBA Homeschool Academy is a non-profit Christian organization providing educational support, resources, and guidance to homeschooling families. 
La Leche League
La Leche provides education, information, support and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
New Friends of Omaha
A club for newcomers and existing members of the community.    Activities include monthly luncheons, gatherings, children's activities, food and drink events, sports and games, special interests and more. Although the group is primarily social, philanthropy is also emphasized.
Omaha Christian Homeschoolers
This social site offers a place for homeschoolers in the Omaha metro area to get and share information with others. 
Omaha Home Educators Network provides information and resources on homeschooling in Nebraska and a list of local support groups for homeschooling parents.
 
Omaha Home School Learning Center provides a variety of enrichment classes for homeschooled students ages three through high school specifically designed to supplement a home-based curriculum.

PTI Nebraska
PTI Nebraska is a statewide resource for families of children with disabilities and special health care needs. PTI Nebraska's staff are parent/professionals and are available to talk to parents and professionals about special education, other services and disability specific information.
Ted E. Bear Hollow
Ted. E Bear Hollow is a center that provides programs, events and resources for grieving families, kids, teens, and young adults.  They also provide training for professionals who are dealing with a grieving  child or family. 
Bellevue Moms Chapter of the Depression
and Bipolar Support Alliance

The Bellevuew Moms Chapter of the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance is a support group for mothers and women who want to become or are pregnant who are dealing with depression and/or bipolar disorder.  The group meets the first and third Monday of every month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Church of the Holy Spirit located at 1305 Thomas Drive in Bellevue.
