Nebraska StoryArts
Nebraska StoryArts preserves storytelling traditions in all cultures.  The organization produces a number of storytelling events throughout the year, including the Moonshell Storytelling Festival.  NSA also offers a storytelling camp for children in grades 4-8 and conducts an outreach program called Story Connect for Omaha and Lincoln schools, libraries, and community agencies.

The Omaha Community Playhouse offers a variety of youth acting classes, including Beginning Acting for Kids (Ages 7-10), Intermediate Acting for Kids (Ages 11-13), Introduction to Acting and Improvisation, and Intermediate Acting and Improvisation.

The Omaha Parks and Recreation Department, through its community centers, offers youth acting, fencing, and dance classes.

Kids ages 4-18 of all skill levels can now choose between two exciting year-round theater classes at The Rose.  In DRAMA at The Rose, professional actors teach acting, playwriting, stagecraft and more.  The new BROADWAY at The Rose offers lessons in musical theater, vocal instructions and dance from the region's top performers.  Both classes feature performance opportunities, with BROADWAY culminating in a year-end performance on The Rose main stage.
