Does anyone watch the television show on TLC called "John and Kate Plus Eight"? My six-year-old son loves this show, and he always asks me to watch it with him. For those of you who are not familiar with the series, it's about a couple who have one set of twins and a set of sextuplets, hence the show's title. I think the sextuplets are three-years-old. The entire time that I watch the show, I think that my jaw just hangs open because I cannot even begin to imagine how the mom and dad handle everything and manage to stay, by all appearances anyway, reasonably sane. One time, Aidan asked me, "Mom, how come we don't have eight kids in our family?" And, I said, "Because Daddy doesn't want to come home from work every night to find Mommy locked in a closet, slumped on the floor, drooling and muttering to herself." Strangely enough, he seemed to accept and understand this explanation because he just nodded emphatically and said, "Yeah!"

I've only seen parts of that show. The parents look dazed a lot of the time, don't they? No wonder!

TLC has some strange shows. That LA Ink show about the tatoo studio is some kind of strange.

Hi, kgreen.

I know what you mean, but then I have the feeling that I'm going around looking dazed quite a bit of the time, and I only have one.
