Fun Poll

Hello there! I thought it would be fun to post a little fun poll to get to know the other members on here.

1. How many kids do you have? 5 year old boy, 3 year old girl, 7 month old girl
2. Married..if so how long? 9 wonderful years to my high school sweetheart but we've been together for 15 years.
3. Favorite Restaraunt? One that is up there is "The Melting Pot"
4. Good movie you've seen recently..at the movies or rented? I really liked "Because I Said So" and I just saw "Licenese to Wed" today which was good. Any good chick flick is great!
5. What do you like to do for fun? I like to scrapbook, take pictures of my kids, read good Christian books- Max Lucado has some great ones out there
6. If you had one day to yourself what would you do? I would go get pampered! I love to get Pedicures, massages, hair done, etc. Being a mom of three there is very little time for that so just to relax and let someone take care of me sounds great!

Thanks for the great post - I really appreciate your willingness to share information about yourself on our website, and I think you've encouraged others to do the same. It may take awhile for people to feel comfortable posting in our forums, so you might not see a lot of replies right away. We've had over 800 unique visitors to the site so far this month, but not nearly as many people posting in the forums. However, as people return to the site and continue to see some of the same names in our forums, I think they'll become more comfortable with the idea of posting something themselves. Also, I hope that our contest and prizes will entice visitors to post.

With that said, here are my answers to your poll questions:
I've been married to my husband for 23 years, and we've been together for a total of 28 years. We have one 5-year-old son, an ancient and cranky German Shepard, and a troublemaker of an orange tabby cat. My favorite restaurant is Biaggi's. I also enjoy the movies, and I go almost every week. Recently, I really enjoyed seeing "Knocked Up," which made me laugh really hard, but not as hard as my 67-year-old mom whom I took with me. My hobbies are yoga and reading. I visit bookstores an embarrassing number of times each week (one of my son's first words was Borders), and I like reading biographies, history, and politics. If I had one day to myself, I would sleep as long as I could, take a long walk outside (all alone), and then read the rest of the day.

Hi- I am a stay at home mom of three. I have a 4 year old girl, a 3 year old boy, and a 1 year old boy. I am 27 years old and have been happily married for 8 years. When and IF I have a minute to myself, I like working in my yard, going to garage sales/flea markets, as well as reading decorating magazines. One way I have managed to stay socially in-tuned is by selling Premier Jewelry. I don't do it too often, my family comes first, it's just a good way for me to get out of the house and hang with women, as well as bring in a little $$. Also I spend a lot of time on E-bay, selling my children's clothes. I am kinda a neat freak and don't like clutter so I love getting the stuff we can't use anymore out of the house. Anyway, my life isn't too fabulous,in fact it's quite simple, but I love every moment/day I get to spend with the kids.
