MOPS Group (Mothers of Preschoolers)

Hey ladies! Just thought I'd let you know that MOPS is a wonderful group to be involved in if you are a mother of little ones newborn to age 5. I belong to the one at Christ Community Church and it is wonderful. Excellent childcare for your little ones, yummy food, good speakers, good fellowship, etc. Finding out you are not alone through those tough and joyful times of raising little ones. If you have more questions or want to know how to sign up for the group let me know! It starts up in Sept. and goes until about the end of April. I have been in one for 4 years now and I have a 5 1/2 year old boy, 3 year old girl and almost 7 month old daughter. It has been such a blessing and so please don't hesitate if you are interested.

Do you have to be a member of the church where the meetings are held to join up with MOPS? I have a 2.5 year-old and I'm new to Omaha, so this sounds like a great way to meet people and have fun.

Welcome to Omaha! You do not have to be a member of the church. In fact I would say at least half of the women do not attend that particular church. It is not a program of the church they just use the location. So women from all over attend. It is an awesome way to meet other moms and have fun. Please let me know if you would like more information to attend. I just moved here 2 years ago myself. I have a 5 1/2 year old boy, 3 year old girl and a 7 1/2 month old baby girl. I am a stay at home mom. If you have any questions at all feel free to send me a message. MOPS is awesome you can't go wrong joining!
