Ohhh boy, it's taken me days to write about this. Did anyone else catch the last Oprah show with Doctor Oz? I guess it was a rerun but I missed it the first time. He had a lot of stuff on parasites - a tapeworm I don't know how many feet long for one.
The grossest thing, though, was a kind of parasitic catfish that lives in the Amazon River. When this thing is very small, it's been known to swim up a guy's penis and grow there into a small fish. He even had a picture of this thing - the fish I mean, and it really is a catfish! Doctor Oz said you can't take any medicine to get rid of it. All you can do is have surgery to get it out. Yuck, yuck, yuck. I can't wait to see what he has on the show next time.
