Girly Doctor Needed

Yep, it's time for the dreaded annual visit and I am looking for a good gynecologist, preferable one that is female. Let me know if you have any recommendations.

I think my doctor, Jill McTaggert, is fantastic. I was not happy with my previous doctor (Kathleen Norton) and so I, too, asked around and received referrals. I've been seeing her for 4 years now and she has delivered both of my children. She's located on 72nd and Mercy Road.

My OB/GYN doctor is Dr. Terrence Kolbeck, not a woman, but I think the world of him. I have been going to him for years. He has seen me through surgeries and the delivery of my son. Besides possessing excellent medical expertise, he is very patient, calm, and reassuring. He is always willing to take the time to answer all of my questions and address any specific concerns I have. He has offices in both Lakeside and at Immanuel. I've really depended on his advice through the years, and it has never failed me. My mom has gone to him even longer than I have, and she thinks he's great, too.

Dr Linda Collins is wonderful, she is old enough to have some experience yet young enough to relate with younger women. I have gone to her for over 5 years.

I can only give my opinion, from the male point of view, but I could not be happier with the OB/GYN then that my wife sees.

I could easily write a long post, of stories we have had dealing with my wife's pregnancies, the trials of trying to get pregnant, miscarriage, and more.

But in the end, he simply treats everyone with just great respect. As does the staff we have encounted at his office here in CB. Together, they all truly showcase the feel of great care each time we visit.

Have you considered a midwife? The m/w's at UNMC are WONDERFUL!!
