The Thai Pepper restaurant in Miracle Hills is worth a try. I had Ginger Chicken, which was very good. There are a lot of tempting things on the menu, too, so we'll be going back soon. The staff there is very polite and efficient. I don't remember seeing anything more than about $15 on the menu.

I have to agree with Pa Barker on Thai Pepper, but I'm going to be more effusive. I loved it, loved it, loved it! It was by far the best restaurant meal I have had in a very long time. I had pineapple rice, and it was fantastic! I keep thinking about all the other things I saw on the menu that I can't wait to try. I think we're going to end up being regulars at Thai Pepper.

I will have to try Thai Pepper. I looooove Thai food! I have heard nothing but good things about Thai Pepper. Maybe I will try it this weekend with the family.
Thai restaurants I have tried so far:
I have tried Mai Thai at 144th and Center and it was wonderful. They garnish the plates with orchids! It is a tiny place, maybe 8 tables, but it is really, really good. I recommend the Mango Chicken there. They serve this dish in the hollowed out half of a mango.
We also order take out regularly from Thai Spice at 156th and Dodge. It is also excellent, with very generous take-out portions.
Thai Kitchen, Lakeside (170th and Center, across from Lakeside Hospital) is also good but I prefer the others. Maybe it is the long, narrow layout of Thai Kitchen - I felt like I was eating in a hallway.

Are all these places very spicy or can you ask them to tone things down?

Thanks for the tip on Mai Thai, Bethany! I'm going to get over there for lunch this week and try that mango chicken dish!
