Has anyone been out to Splash Station in Fremont? The prices seem very reasonable and I was just wondering if it is a complete zoo of people or worth the drive. Would love to hear your thoughts.
If anyone hasn't heard about the new water park, here is their website:

Hi, momof2boys.
I visited Spash Station today with my 5-year-old. It was as much fun as the photos seemed to promise. In fact, my son has voted Splash Station his new favorite water park, after Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City, of course.
The pool's shallow area is huge, which is a great benefit if you have small children. A train with three slides, a water dumping tower, sprays, and a mushroom fountain kept my son and his friends very busy. We also tried the wave pool, which is pretty tame, so it's good for relaxing or for taking little ones for a ride. The water park also has a small sprayground that appealed to the young kids.
There were also a lot of older kids and teens at the water park, and they seemed to be enjoying the deep water and the big slides.
Splash Station was definitely worth the trip and the price of admission. In fact, I plan to make more trips there before school begins. I do have one tip, though. To avoid crowds, arrive early, preferably when the pool opens at 11:00 a.m. When we first arrived at the park, it wasn't very busy or croweded. As the afternoon wore on, however, more and more people cotinued to arrive, so space and deck chairs became extremely limited. There were also times when I had to watch three small children at once, and this became more difficult as the crowds increased. If you're looking for a more relaxing experience, I recommend Pirate Cove in Council Bluffs.
I hope this helps. If you visit Splash Station, please write to us and share your experience.

I took my 10-year old and 4-year old on Thursday around 2pm and it was a zoo. I worried I wouldn’t be able to keep my eye on them because there was so many people in the pool. Luckily my oldest is a very good swimmer and I didn’t need to watch him like I do with my youngest. My boys had such a good time they wanted to go back the next day. So on Friday we went back. We got there around 12:30 or so and it wasn't busy at all. It was slightly cloudy so I am not sure if that is why.
The place is great for all ages. There is a large area of very shallow water for the little ones and the motion ocean and slides for the older ones. The only major complaint is there is a slide coming off of the train that goes into deeper water that is too deep for my 4-year old. He was able to stop and go off of the side of the slide but if he would continue to go straight off the slide he would be in the deep water (3 1/2ft?). So if you were on the other side of the train, waiting for them, you wouldn't know if they are going down the other slide on the backside in the deeper water.
