I have not had a pedicure since sandal-weather ended, and it would now be fair to say that my feet resemble a Clydesdale's hooves. In fact, at Thanksgiving I had to shoo the children away from me when one of them discovered my calluses and started to call the other ones over to see. I know, I know, way too much information. Anyway, I've decided to treat myself to a pedicure as a kind of Christmas present to myself, and I'm now picturing velvety smooth feet and sparkly holiday toenails. Can anyone recommend a good place to get a pedicure that is not too hideously expensive?

By the way, I highly recommend buying yourself at least one Christmas gift. If you're a mom, then you definitely deserve it, and it ensures that you receive something you really want.

My favorite pedicure/manicure place is Legacy Nails on 168th and Center. I can always get in during daytime hours when the kids are in school. I can't remember the prices exactly, but I remember it being very reasonable. I bring a book, take the Diet Coke they offer me, and relax--ahh! I think every mom deserves a pedicure either before or after the holidays. Treat yourselves ladies!
