Tasty Recipe for Christmas Cut-Out Cookies?

Does anyone have a tasty recipe for Christmas cut-out cookies? I want to make Christmas cookies with my son. However, with all the work and clean-up this task involves, it would be really great if the cookies actually taste good when they're done. If you have a recipe that you love, would you be willing to share it? Thanks!
