Podcasts?

Do any of you fellow Omaha moms listen to any podcasts regularly? My hubby bought me an ipod in March for my birthday and I've discovered a whole new realm of moms on the internet. Here's a few that I really like, but I'd like to know if you listen to any and what you're listening to.

Lots of great views on motherhood and parenting. I've picked up a lot of great tips and information from these podcasters.

Did you find these on iTunes, then? Podcast.net has a nice directory, too. It's hard to know which ones are good and which aren't.

I really like Manic Mommies, too! They are one of my regular listens. I will have to check out the others.

Actually, a friend of mine from work was really into podcasting. He told me that if I searched for parenting type shows, that I would probably find some that interest me. I think I found ManicMommies first and fell in love with them. They mentioned a couple of the other shows, and the other shows mentioned some of the others and so on. And sometimes when I'm bored, I browse differnt catagories and find new ones. All of the ones I listed are available through Itunes. Go to the Itunes store, click the podcast tab and then pick a catagory. Another way to find new shows is to look at what the other listeners of one show also subscribe to. That points you in a different direction sometimes. The beauty of podcasts are they are totally FREE!!!

Wow, that's good to know. I thought everything on itunes cost money. I didnt know podcasts were free. Thanks for the tip on that!
