T7 Summer Youth Program
Strength & Conditioning

This youth sports program is designed to help all kids no matter what sport they play. All athletes need to be faster, stronger and more explosive. It is designed to teach them basic human movements that I believe are neglected in sports programs as well as schools. Most importantly it is focused on technique more than how much weight a 10- year-old can lift. It is a developmental program to first and foremost help prevent injury. Anything above and beyond that is a bonus.

Why should parents invest and enroll their kids? In my opinion, they
cannot afford not to, it is a necessity that all kids start learning basic
movements at an early age to set the patterns and strengthen their bodies for the rest of their lives. Not to mention, the amount of abuse that kids are putting on their bodies at this age playing multiple sports along with multiple club sports is astronomical.

T7 youth sports program is designed and implemented by NSCA-Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist Troy Watchorn, former Husker free safety.

By completing the 10 week program, each athlete should expect increases in:


Vertical Jump
Speed, power, and agility
Balance and coordination
Athleticism
Flexibility
Injury prevention
Self Confidence


Program information:

Who: 5th-8th grade athletes (male/female)

When: June 7th-Aug. 13th

Training days/times: (Pick one, i.e. Mon./Thurs. 8-9 am)
Monday/Thursday (8-9 am, 9-10 am, 10-11 am)
Tuesday/Friday (8-9 am, 9-10 am, 10-11 am)

Testing:
Pre-testing June 5th, 8-11 am
Post-testing Aug. 14th, 8-11 am

Location: Common Ground, 1701 Veterans Drive, Elkhorn, Nebraska

Investment: $369 ($18.45/session/athlete)

Registration Deadline: May 29th, 2010
