Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands Camp Nakomisis a Located on 35 wooded acres in Carter Lake, IA. Miles of hiking trails, numerous camp sites and a fishing dock give campers countless opportunities to enjoy themselves, all in a safe and positive environment. Camp Nakomis is the perfect place for youth ages 6-12 to enjoy the outdoors.

Tyler went to this last year & really enjoyed it. The price is very reasonable, the hours are great, and they provide tranportation. We are going to do 3-4 weeks this summer.

Camp Nakomis will run 7 weeks this summer!
June 7-11
June 14-18
June 21-25
June 28-July 2
July 6-9
July 12-16
July 19-23

Camp Nakomis transports members each day to and from camp. We have pick-ups at FNB Downtown, FNB Business Park, and Mutual of Omaha Downtown. Pick-up is 8-815a and Drop-off is 430-5pm.

Cost of Camp Nakomis is only $100/week. Free lunch is included each day.

My 11 year old LOVES this camp. This will be his third year and he can't wait to go back. His favorite thing so far is their water fights. My favorite thing is that he comes home tired, sleeps great, and is ready to go again in the morning! Thanks Josh and Anna for a great summer program, we're looking forward to another summer full of fun!!:D

Okay, I think you guys have about sold me on this camp. I'm going to call tomorrow and see if I can find out more about "Wet 'N Wild" and "Camp Idol" since those two sound like something Aidan would really like! Thanks for the info!
