Deck Designer?

We are THINKING about redoing our deck but want to get some bids or advice from businesses who really know their stuff. Does anyone have suggestions for a deck expert? Or at least someone who has competently designed/built decks? Thanks for any advice.

We had quite a few quotes on decks and spoke with a few companies and we finally went with Decks Decks and More Decks. I wasn't going to call them originally because I saw they were voted best of omaha were featured in omaha living magazine and other such things. I thought wow with all that they MUST be too expensive....Wrong actually. They were cheaper then most businesses. We got a great price quote on our deck. They were about 2-3,000 cheaper then other competitors and for us that was WITH giving us the composite flooring and ceder railings. The other companies quoted us hire for all wood and 2 feet shorter. They came up with the extra 2 feet and I am glad we did it. We even got a gate installed at the top of the stairs so my little one doesnt wander out or accidentally fall down the stairs.

They were super friendly and professional. They did ours in 2 days. The first was tear down and cement. The second was the deck. They were there from 8am until 7pm working hard with one break for lunch for 30 min. After they were done they picked up everything from the yard and were even on thier hands and knees to make sure they got up all the screws.

I give them two huge thumbs up! =0)

If you ever want to know who to NOT hire for landscaping just ask me. had a heck of a time with that. Not as smooth sailing.

I just reread my posting I saw i put hire instead of higher...wow I must have been REALLY tired! lol
