We used Murray Blandford of Blandford Electric (http://iwire4u.com)for a few jobs around the house two weeks ago. He's first-rate. It's a good sign when a guy knows you're willing to spend some money on a project but tells you it can't really be done without causing you more trouble than you realize.
Murray was honest, on-time, and did a very good job adding some lights for us and rewiring another in our entryway. His rates were fair, too. In fact, I told him I thought a job he was going to do was worth more than he was charging. (Yeah, I know, not the smartest thing for me to say.) He said, "No, man if you pay more than that, you're getting ripped off."
Now I have a good electrician, good plumber (Dundee Plumbing), and good car mechanic (Lantz Bros. in Keystone). That saves a lot of trouble and a lot of money.
