We featured Coco Key Water Resort on our home page some time ago and said they would open soon. Well, that time has come. Check this link for more information on Omaha's new indoor water park located at the Holiday Inn Convention Center, 3321 S 72nd St.

I saw something about this on one of the local tv news stastions. The park looked alot like Great Wolf in Kansas City. It's great that there is a nearby alternative. Prices are kinda high, though, to go very often.

It is a little steep but not too bad compared to other amusement parks. I read it's $20 per person Monday thru Fri, $38 per on Sat. and $28 per person on Sunday. I dont think kids get a cheaper rate - looks like its the same price for all, but their web site doesn't really say.

Hi All! Okay, I've got the low-down on how to work the best deal for this CoCo Key Resort!;) I did some price-checking, and here's my recommendation. If you're going to CoCo Key on a weekend as a family or group, forget about just buying the daily water park passes. Instead, you should book a room at the "Water Park Rate" (WPR).
The WPR includes a standard double-bed room with 4 water park admissions included. You can have up to 5 people stay in the room, but you'll have to pay an additional $19 for the extra water park admission (unless it's a child under 2, they're free). Right now, the WPR rate is an introductory $139/night through 11/21. After that, it appears to be $179/night on Fridays & Saturdays, and $159/night from Sunday through Thursday. However, please note that these rates do not apply around holiday time periods (goes up to $249/night), and the prices quoted do not include taxes.
Also, keep in mind that as a hotel guest with water park privileges you have access to the water park the entire length of your stay. For example, if you booked a one-night stay checking in on a Friday, you'd have ALL DAY access to CoCo Key on both Friday AND Saturday (regardless of check-in or check-out time). If you booked a one-night stay checking in on Saturday, then you'd have ALL DAY Saturday and Sunday at the water park.
If you just purchased 4 Saturday water park admissions that would be $152, and you only have access to the water park for that one day. I think it's a better deal to spend the extra money, get the room with admission included, and have two whole days at CoCo Key, especially if you're going on a weekend.
