While at Pottery Barn Kids today (shopping when I should have been walking--it looked like rain!), I picked up a flyer about upcoming Sing-along dates. The next ones are Wednesday, Oct 24th with Sue Schnitzer and Friday, Nov 9th with Anna Stange. They do a show at 10:00 and then repeat it at 11:00--you can go to one or stay for both. I have been to a few sing-alongs and some story times at PBK. I like both but prefer the sing-alongs--more involvement to keep the kids' attentions.

Story times there are every Tuesday at 10:00 am. Added bonus--each child is given a card to be stamped each week that you go--after I think it's 5 stamps, you get a $10 gift card to the store. And then you start over for more gift cards. Pretty cool!

Pottery Barn Kids is in the Regency Court Mall which is south of Dodge and about 99th St--by Whole Foods. Bring coins to toss in the pond in the mall's atrium--kids love this.

Thanks for your post. The PBK sing-alongs are great - my son loved them when he was younger! And since they're free, what a great value! My son saw Dino O'Dell and Mr. Stinky Feet in concert at PBK, and he had a great time dancing and singing along to the music.

Bringing coins to throw in the fountain is also a great idea. I remember that my son was always disappointed when I didn't have any change in my purse. And here's another idea. Before you leave Regency Shopping Court, stop at Godiva and get a little treat for your kids and for yourself, of course. You can also stop for lunch at Paradise Bakery.
