I am going to be extremely busy the next few months and I thought I would try one of those meal preparation places. Has anyone had any experience with either one? Has anyone done both and recommend one over the other? Would love to hear your thoughts!

I have done both and prefer Super Suppers. Their food is healthier--less creamed soup type stuff. I love their walk-in services--you do not have to make appointments on Saturdays and I think Wednesdays. I have gone to prepare the meals--it's fun but time-consuming. I usually go on their "stock your freezer" days and buy a few meals--then I don't have to make anything and it takes maybe five minutes.

Yesterday I went to Super Suppers and made 6 meals. It was relatively quick (45 minutes). Their parties sound like a lot of fun. All you do is invite 6 friends, they supply wine and appetizers, and the host receives 6 meals for free. She said some groups meet once a month and rotate the free meal deal.

I' wondering how expensive it is. There site says the cost is $3 or so for serving but that some people save money off grocery bill total. Do you think this is about the same cost as making from scratch or is it more like going to a restaurant?
