Fontenelle Forest’s Mud Pies
Starts Up Again in October

If your older kids are back in school and you’re looking for things to do with your preschoolers, check out the Mud Pies program at Fontenelle Forest. You and your child can explore a different nature-based theme every week through a series of interactive stations set up indoors and (weather permitting) outdoor activities. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the Forest at its most beautiful!

My son and I attended Mud Pies almost every Tuesday morning last year. Fontenelle Forest is my son’s favorite place in all of Omaha, and Mud Pies was his favorite of his regular activities. What he loved most about the program was meeting the various critters that visited the classroom, creating his own theme-based snacks, and blowing giant bubbles on the outdoor patio.

Not only is the program entertaining and educational, it’s a bargain, too. Admission is $2 per member child / $3 for non-member children / free for adults. The program is offered on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. from October 1st thru December 18th. Mud Pies is a drop-in program, so advance registration is not required. An adult must accompany children.
