Just thought I would post that I took my three little ones today and had a wonderful time! We are fans anyway from the camps they attended here but today was just relaxing and fun. Not to mention the weather, aside from being a little windy, was PERFECT! It costs $2 a head to attend and you can visit all the animals on the farm. Hayrack rides (not sure on the price) were there along with miniature horse rides for $3 a head. Raffle drawings, face painting, scavenger hunt for kids to help make looking around the farm educational as well, pet presentations, etc. Like I said before my kids attended camp there so they had seen the animals before but still wanted to go! My baby girl 21 months just loved seeing all the animals. The food offered was very reasonable. We got 2 bottled waters, a can of pop, and three homemade cookies for $2. I was impressed and would encourage any of you to enjoy the day tomorrow at Gifford Farms.

That's a great review! I only wished I'd seen it earlier. Its great to find something that's fun and cheap these days. I think they're havinga Halloween event in a couple of weeks at Gifford farm, too.

Yes they are having a Trick or Treat Event there on the 25th. It's listed under the calendar events. I'm sure it will be just as good. If we don't have other things going on I'm sure we will venture that way. My kids just love that place! I'm all about cheap and fun having my own three kids. :)

We went as well and really enjoyed it :) The hayrack ride was $1 per person or a cap of $5 per family. The mini horse rides were $3. I would highly recommend as well!

Their website is part of an Educational Service Unit website (ESU3). Gifford Farm is used for outdoor education mostly--field trips, scouting badges, etc. Go to http://www2.esu3.org/esu3/index.cfm?dept=esu3 to see more about the farm.
