I'm brand new to this site but I wanted to let some more people know about my wonderful experience with Hy-Tech Weight Loss. I was having trouble losing weight after I had my son so I looked in the phone book and came across Hy-Tech. I started in March of 2008 and have already lost 45lbs. It is very cost effective and you can virtually eat anything you want, just in moderation. I'm so proud of myself and I am still on track to lose another 40lbs. by November. It's probably the easiest weight loss program I have found. (even easier then Weight Watchers). I just thought I should get it out there for any mother's that are trying to find a convenient way to lose some pounds. Their number is 453-LOSE.

What technique do they use?
Can you describe the program for us?
Thanks!

Hi Crista,
Welcome to the MomsOfOmaha.com forums, and thanks for posting!
I have some questions, too:
Do you eat your own food, or do you have to buy their food?
Also, does the plan have any required supplements, vitamins, and shakes/bars?
What's the cost of their program, and does it have any "hidden" fees?
How often do you have to go in to get weighed?
Thanks for any information you can give us. I know I could just call them up and go in for a consultation, but then I'm sure I'd be subjected to a sales pitch, and I really just want to find out about the program first.

During your consultation, they give you a Resting Metabolic Rate Test which shows you how many calories you burn just by doing nothing. Then they set up a plan based on the amount of calories you need to lose 2lbs. per week (mine is 4 fruits, 4 veggies, 3 meats, 3 fats, 6 starches, and 2 dairy). You can eat all of your own food. The cost depends on how much weight you are looking to lose. My goal is 85lbs. and it is costing me $45/month. No supplements are required but you get them free with your monthly payment. They have bars and cookies that are amazing but again, not required. There are no hidden fees. You can go in anywhere from 1-3 times a week (I go once now). The nutritionists there are awesome! They get excited with you and they really want to see people succeed! My sister is also doing it and has lost 37lbs. since May. I am also a single Mom of a 2 year old and I have no problem sticking to it!
