Okay I have to vent just a little here and I'm curious about others views on this. Hannah Montana from Disney Channel has a concert here in October but the tickets sold out in like and hour or something! My son likes the show and would have loved to go to the concert but first .......$54.00 I believe per ticket! WOW! Why are tickets so expensive? No child admission prices...I know a seat is a seat but come on....then to have the show sell out like that...how crazy! I probably would not have bought tickets due to the price but even if I was wanting some.......no chance! Apparently people buy them and then resale the tickets for a huge profit......and it's legal! Any thoughts?

The market for pre-teens is huge. It is obvious that many were not afraid to pay $54 a ticket. The crazy thing is most parents probably bought two tickets (one for their child and one for themselves)!

Wow! I'm not sure I could enjoy any concert enough to pay $54 a ticket. Didn't Rolling Stones tickets cost $200 a piece or something? At least with them you could figure an older crowd would pay up for the experience. But a kid show going for that kind of price is crazy to me. Then again, right now a promoter is saying "Man, the show sold out in an hour. I coulda charged even more!"
