My lovely 12-year-old niece, who happens to live in LaVista, emailed me that she received a flyer about a kids' event this coming Saturday, May 31, at Shadow Lake Towne Center. It's called "Chalk Walk" and it is partially celebrating a new section of the mall opening. The main attraction will be artists creating with sidewalk chalk--should be amazing! There will be food, prizes, clowns, face painting, and a free concert at 11:00 am by The String Beans.
